The Lake Lyle Baby Back Ribs, Arms, and Asparagus Page
This undertaking is definitely NOT for the beginner. I don't know what I was thinking when I put this masterpiece together but its the best ! Its hard to beat BBQ'd ribs but then ya throw in some chackun arms and a handful of Asparagus - its a full meal.

Step 01 - Start with a couple racks of fresh baby-back ribs, some pork rub, a rack of chackun arms, BBQ seasoning, salt & pepper

Step 02 - Start by placing the arms in a baking pan

Step 03 - Season them with BBQ seasoning, salt & pepper.

Step 04 - Rub down the ribs and place in a pan ( meat side down ) with out 1/4 inch water in the bottom using meat rack to keep meat from the water.

Step 05 - Cover your creations with tin foil.

Step 06 - Into the pre-heated oven they go..

Step 07 - Bake @ 350 for about 45 minutes.

Step 08 - They look nice & smell great. ( they are not fully cooked at this point, just a good started )

Step 09 - Drain the fat off.

Step 10 - Flip each arm so we can put a little crust on both sides.

Step 11 - Turn the heat down to about 225.

Step 12 - Time to flip the ribs. Notice the dry white bones.

Step 13 - Now she's starting ta pull together.

Step 14 - BBQ the arms. and let em slow cook.

Cats like the Broth

Step 15 - Time to start the coals.

Step 16 - 'ya might be a red neck ifin ya got a BBQ grill with mud-grip wheels.

Step 17 - After the coals get going, place some hickory wood chips on top.

Step 18 - After about 15 - 20 minutes of slow bake, flip the ribs one mo time.

Step 19 - They are really close, look at them bones. Close her up and let it continue the slow bake.

Step 20 - Prepare the Asparagus by cutting off bottoms about 1/2 to 3/4.

Step 21 - wet them down with some Olive Earl.

Step 22 - Add BBQ seasoning

Step 23 - By now the coals are about ready.

Step 24 - Spread the coals out

Step 25 - Start the BBQ'in by placing the arm around the outside perimeter of the coals.

Step 26 - let the arms cook at least 20 minutes on their own.

Step 27 - Flip the arms and make room for the ribs. Add the ribs to the center of the ring

Step 28 - Next apply the BBQ sauce

Line em up

Step 29 - Let her cook and smoke.

Step 30- Flipping time - perfect timing! a little crust ya not burnt.

Step 31 - Apply BBQ sauce to the other side and cook for another 10 minutes.

Step 32 - Move meat away from the heat and make room for for the asparagus.

Step 33 - Lay the asparagus directly over hottest coals.

Step 34 - Asparagus only takes about 5 minutes. Roll them once or twice.

Step 35 - Presentation is 'ALL on one plate' as shown above.
