Decker remains unchallenged in 2000

2000group.jpeg (105044 bytes)

The unseasonable warm weather coupled with blue skies, calm winds, and the after effect of the 'Friday night Festivities' left Dick Decker of Huron unchallenged and the undisputed heavyweight Lake Lyle bag limit trophy holder of the world.  He did it again - congratulations Dick!

It didn't take the boys long to utilize the near-prefect weather conditions and drum up a trap shoot.  Heckling, coughing, trick throws, alliances & easy throws,  ... all legal in this event.  It didn't seem to matter, Terry Understock of Sioux Falls, tossed all distractions aside, posted a perfect score and took home the cash.  Christmas does come early for some. Just a reminder, this event was dropped from the Lake Lyle books years ago because you-know-who always you-know-what'd.

The 3 hour tour included a stop at the ole country school house.  Here, 4th thru 8th grade teacher, Miss Chenoweth, demands total attention.  Those who disobey are punished much like Abby whom got caught talking.
