The Lake Lyle     Turkey Page

This page is to show ya all just how Turkey is made at Lake Lyle.  This is alot like our famous Chackun-in-da-nest recipe except different.

Step 01 - Get yourself a nice 12lb Turkey

Step 02 - Wack arf the wings

Step03 - Start de-boning by cutting down one side of the breast

Step04 - Split the neck skin too

Step05 - Filet the meat arf the carcus

Step06 - When ya get to the thigh, snap the joint.

Step07 - Continue to skin her out.

Step08 - Thar she be !

Step09 - Bone out the leg bones.

Step10 - Boning out the legs

Step11 - Whip up the dressing

Step12 - Spread the dressing in the center of skinned turkey

Step12 - Begin to role her up

Step13 - Use a few toothpicks to hold the skin together

Step14 - Place her into a baking pan

Step15 - Place the leftover wings and dressing in with the turkey and bake at 375 fer 1 hour then...

Step16 - Pull her out and baste with maple syrup. Its really starting to look good !

Step17 - Cover with foil and reduce heat to 325 fer another about 2 hours.

Step18 - slice the turkey and get the fixins on.
