The Lake Lyle  Fish Bake Page

This page is to show ya all just how to make another one of the best tasting things you will ever swoller, FISH BAKE.  This recipe came from our good neighbor, Debbie, and is it ever mmmm mmmm GOOD!  You can serve it as your main dish or just set it out with a pile o crackers, either way, there will be no leftovers.

Debbie just wrote this recipe down for us the other night so I haven't had time to get pictures of the process yet ( they will definitely be posted soon ). I just wanted to get the recipe posted so all can enjoy.... so Let's Cook and Let's Eat..

Step01 - In a glass 9 x 13 baking dish, layer fish to make 1" of fish.

Step02 - Mix:  1 cup sour cream

                      1/3 cup mayo

                      1 small diced yellow onion

               Spread thin layer over fish.

Step03 - Mix:  1/4 cup parmesan cheese

1/4 cup RITZ crackers - crushed

                      1 TBSP cajun seasoning

               Sprinkle thin layer as topping.

Step04 -  Bake @ 350 for 40-45 minutes or until it flakes with a fork.

About 15-20 minutes into the baking process, you might want to send

any & everyone in the house to the store for some fine graded colby

cheese and when they are gone, start eatin!
