The 1st Annual Lake Lyle Fishing Derby - Jan 27, 2001
It's official. We're going to have an Ice Fishing Derby. Lake Lyle is kicking out some of the finest Perch in the area. These Perch are really nice! Ya don't want to miss this one.
* This derby is an INVITATIONAL, meaning NO BUDDIES OF BUDDIES. No new people.
* Shotgun Start time at 9:00am from the Lodge. Lake access will be monitored by one of Huron's finest.
* Shotgun Ending at 4:00pm.
* Entry fee will be $10.00 and a 12pack of Old Mill Light (bottles are best).
* Live fish only. Better have a bucket. Cheaters will be pounded!
* Weights will be based on 2 Man Teams. 2/3 weight if 3-man team.
* Payouts are as follows:
* First place team gets 50% of entry fees and travelin trophy
* Second place team gets 30% of entry fees
* 20% of the entry fees will go to the following funds:
* Tagged fish is worth 10,000 cents.
* Walleye's are worth 10.00 each
* First Bull Head earns Cabela's magnetic tip up ( with light ).
* Other door prizes...
* Nobody will go hungry -
