  To the guys that hunt with the R-R-L-L Ring-neck Pheasant Hunting Club….

  Well guys, the hunting looks good BUT, getting land to hunt on is getting harder and harder to find.   Russ, Ricky, and Lake Lyle ( R-R-L-L ) have decided to bite the bullet and rent some land.  The land we have in mind is located on the Allen Wipf’s farm north of Huron on Hwy 37.   We are going to rent two (2) quarter-sections ( hopefully the good ones ).   

  THE HUNT – For sure we will be hunting on this land the 1^st and 2^nd weekends of the season.  After that we will have 2 to 4 more group hunts during the season, hopefully Thanksgiving and Christmas.  We do not want to burn this land out. It will be limited to group hunts only.  This means members only and as a group only – no individual hunting and no invites.

  THE COST -  We are going to set-up an account so we can pay early and also put a  guarantee on the land.   The first payment to the fund will be $150.00 each person.  With 20 hunters, that will place $3000.00 into our hunting account.  We are going to offer $4.00 per acre – to do the math, 2 quarter sections = 320 acres x $ 4.00 = $1280.00 payment.  This will leave $1720.00 in the account for next year.  Yearly dues after the 1^st year will be 50.00 per hunter.  This means if there happens to be a bad year for pheasants, we could acquire more land.

  We hope to have all 20 hunters participate in this club, this means there will be no ( or very little ) room for extra hunters.  We would also like to keep the same group every year.  It’s been great hunting in the past and should be great hunting in the future.
